Join me for five weeks of paper making, then ripping tearing and pasting our way to beautiful collage works of art! Whether you are a returning collage fan or this is your first try, this class is for you as we move from the basics to new approaches in collage and mixed media art. Learn techniques in texture, relief, layering and depth as we create beautiful compositions with handmade papers, fibers, and unique surfaces from around the world. Options of mixed media elements with paint, pastel and more!

Join me for a fun exploration of linoleum cut printmaking, break in the studio’s new printing press and share your designs and messages of hope with each other to create a string of colorful handmade flags in the honored tradition of Tibetan peace flags. As we create our work, we can share it as well, printing multiple flags of your own design then trading with each other and string them along! I hope that this class will help each of us to focus on the light, hope, and unity by creating works of art with positive words and images about issues affecting our global community, the coming of spring, caring for one another, etc… to send out positivity to each other and the world!

Do you struggle with seeing and mixing the colors you need? Do you want to unlock the world of color, depth, and value in your artwork? Do you want to grow in your understanding of brushes techniques, and how these tools can improve your work? This is the class you have been waiting for!
Join me for this fun and informative class all about color, both working with is and seeing it in a new way, from hue to saturation, to temperature you will view and mix to a new understanding as an artist. Then apply these colors with new ideas of how to use brushes to improve your painting skills! This class is beginner to advanced friendly and can be your first color theory class or as a continuation of the last class offering. Not to be missed!

Join me for the fun and dynamic class as we explore the theme of skies from sunrise to sunset - clouds, light, weather, and mood! Each week we will try out a new medium (watercolor, pastel, and oil) culminating in a final large artwork in the medium you liked best! This class is open to beginners and advanced artists alike, all materials included.
