ELEMENTS & EChoes of the landscape

During a time unlike any other, the global pandemic kept me in the studio rather than my preferred workspace outdoors. I took my well-established artistic process and reversed it for this recent path of experimentation. Working first in large monotype-print abstractions of color, texture, and layered inks, I detected and reframed miniature landscapes and other natural forms that reminded me of places and elements of nature that have defined my story as a landscape artist. These one-of-a-kind mini-prints have now taken the form of memories of lands I have seen and places I have treasured. Each print ranges in size from two to six inches, containing small compositions of deep richness and complexity.
